symmetry

Defined as: the quality of being made up of exactly similar parts facing each other or around an axis, a photo showcasing "symmetry" took some thought and time... it required looking beyond the first impression and focusing (haha, excuse the pun) on the composition of the photo. While not perfect mirror images of each other, I set up the photo to zoom in on one shrub branch with a center line and smaller stalks on each side. A little emphasis on the natural light in the post processing and... symmetry... in a shrub ;)

Okay, girl...you and I have so much in common for the strangers that we really are! I didn't know you were into photography and that's a new world I've been slowly trying to enter into myself! And when I read about you getting your 18 month-old to change schedule, I had to laugh because my 18 month-old is the same way! It was so great to see you comment on my blog...please, if you have the time, send me a quick email so I can hear how you're doing, okay? I think of you often!
